If you haven’t had a switchboard inspection for a while, we’d recommend getting a qualified and licensed KGE electrician out to check if you need a switchboard upgrade. There are a number of warning signs you could also look out for which could indicate it’s time to upgrade your switchboard. These are:

Your switches keep tripping. 

If you’re running multiple of appliances at your home or business, your switchboard may not be equipped to deal with the amount of energy they draw, particularly if it’s an older model. This will result in short circuiting which will cause the switches to trip.
